Ashima Aggarwal

Ashima Aggarwal is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and litigation. Ashima served as an Associate General Counsel and Vice President at John Wiley & Sons, Inc., a globally recognized publishing company with over 200 years of history, where Ashima oversaw the legal operations of Wiley’s Education Publishing division, which included book publishing, professional development products, and a global education technology business and managed Wiley’s Litigation team.

Ashima holds a Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Art History, cum laude, from Wellesley College. She is a certified mediator and is licensed to practice in New York.

In addition to her legal practice, Ashima is actively engaged in her community, serving as a board member of The Laundromat Project (Board Chair, 2023-2025) and Tatter. Ashima has also served on the Spark Prize Committee at Brooklyn Org and as a member of the women’s giving circle AllinBklyn.
